Haiz! Going to be very sad soon. Another 2 more weeks to go and my best friend will be leaving China. It has been ten years since she has been here and it is time for her to move on. With my other best friend who is too busy to know whether I am alive or not, life in Suzhou will not be the same without her. We share one passion, the love to go out every weekends and not staying at Dushu lake. That was what started the beautiful relationship of two friends. She is 24 years older than me and we get along pretty fine. Walking around, looking for food, buying clothes for our loved ones. Yeah!!! I can imagine pretty well how life will go without her in Suzhou. I couldn’t even find one person who can replace her at all. A friend who can share the same passion as I did. Walking for fun. I am sad now actually but there are no one that I can tell to. No one is free enough to care the other person whom I can rely on, is too busy to even entertain my behaviours. I can only put up a fore front that shows that I am ok, but deep down inside, I am sad. Thinking of the lonely time that I will have to go through until January comes.

This is a post for Jennifer Tan. A friend whom I can really call a passionate friend.

Sometimes, I wonder, what is the real definition of being busy? Does busy mean that you don’t have time to even eat? Does busy mean that you don’t even have time to entertain your family? Does busy mean that you won’t need to catch up with others? I really want to know the definition of busy for some of people.

Friends are not made with our blood. Friends are made with being able to contact each other and been able to see each other grows older and wiser together with a link we called friendship. How many friends have I lost in this process of life? I have lost a lot of friends. From being a close friend to being someone who is even worse than my students. I know that life has put us in a challenge where there are loads of ups and downs but that doesn’t mean that we should throw everything away just for that. A lot of people take for granted that the other person will call. But how long can the other person bear when all the get was a cold shoulder. A typical answer called “busy”.

At least I know my best friend hasn’t lost it all and that is all I can hope he can retain. Hahahaha…being a young fella, he is in a world of his own and being his brother and a friend who can be as old as his uncle, he has lots to learn on how to communicate and maintain with a person called friend. As busy as we are in life, if we are really best friends that are thicker than blood, then we should be able communicate and being able to understand each other better. It takes me a long while to learn about him, sometimes I wonder, does he even know I exist? Hahahaha….to him, all in this world for now is just his college days, girls and days to chase after the so-called certificate to enter the University of the Public. Like I wrote for him, as a brother, I should support him and as a friend, I should understand him. But then, does he understand me all the time? Really need to ask him on this then…? But…have to wait until he is free woh….

Hahahaha….life is such a funny event on how much can you take to tolerate a person’s personality although at times, the personality clashes with yours like how the oil will not mix with water. But then, if you added some spices in it, it would then create wonders. I just wish that I wouldn’t be the only one putting in the spices in all my relationship in maintaining it. Especially in one where I am testing. Hahaha….but I am lucky that I have Tammy, Chee Hoe and Eve who have been with me in maintaining the relationship as best as we could. I just wish that my god brothers will be able to do the same too….because both also sotong when it comes to understand human relationship.

The time now is 1.29 am. 1 minute from 1.30 am or should I say by the time I think about it, it has already passed 1.30 am. Couldn’t really sleep today. Not because of Vin’s message. But more like people have been chatting from time to time. From the time people have been talking, laughing and and talking in the middle of the night. geez!!! Don’t they have some cow sense in them that it is the middle of the night. People need to sleep. Usually I can sleep amidst of the noise…but my system these few days has been completely off. Nothing works. Imagine waking up in the midst of 5 am in the morning. Hahahaha…..well…that is me. I need to get my system back or else….I will forsee myself turning into a Dracula at night and a Panda in the morning. Hahahahaha….i already have my Panda eyes. Well worth holidays. At least….i learned how to eat something delicious but not my favorite. Will blog about it some other time. In the meantime, show you a teaser.

I think I have been neglecting my blog for a very long time. haiz!!! will try to make an update later when i am done travelling….lololol….

Well, we decided to take up the president’s suggestions today and went up to the 4th floor of JuGuang to have our dinner. When the president told us that the dinner that he had had with his wife, we weren’t really totally agreed with it until we had our dinner there tonight. By looking at the portion and the amount that we each had (sharing as usual), we were only barely full. Well, just nice except for Karen who didn’t have a proper lunch like we did.

Although the dishes were small, it was actually very delicious. We ordered special pork, cod fish and baked mushroom which I think Sailo would love it because the restaurant is one of the better teppanyaki restaurants that I have been to in my life. Of course better than the one from The Pavilion where we brothers like to have our teppanyaki. The taste of the food in the restaurant was just nice and among all the dishes that we ordered, inclusive of the fried rice, the cod fish was actually one of the best dishes around that night. The skin of the fish was cooked into perfection. Well, like Karen pointed out, I wouldn’t mind going there to try out the beef to see how delicious can it be.

After dinner, we made a small detour before we decided to pop ourselves into Charmate. I had my favorite Red Bean Shaved Ice while Miki and Jennifer had something else. The desert was just nice for our “not so full tummy”. While we were at Charmate, we ended up sending each other our pictures so that when we called, the face will show up. Aduhai….
